東京に生まれ、ニューヨークを拠点に活動する日本人アーティスト、宮本和子の作品集。2025年10月から2026年1月にかけてベルリンの「KW Institute for Contemporary Art」で開催した展覧会に伴い刊行された。
作者と長年にわたり協働し、あるいは活動を共にしてきた主要人物たちによる新たに委嘱された対話や寄稿を収録。このような複数の声を通して、作家の姿を多層的かつ私的な視点から描き出す。本書は、オーラルヒストリーの形式をとった一冊である。
対話は、作者の実践における重要な局面を横断し、エイドリアン・パイパー（Adrian Piper）、キャロル・ルウィット（Carol LeWitt）、イローナ・パフラー（Ilona Pachler）、ルカ・チェリッツァ（Luca Cerizza）、リーラ・ラモター（Leela Ramotar）、レナータ・ラック（Renata Lac）、エイザン・ミヤモト（Eizan Miyamoto）、ハンス・ウルリッヒ・オブリスト（Hans Ulrich Obrist）らの声を含む。あわせて、「A.I.R. Gallery」、「アナ・メンディエータ・エステート（Ana Mendieta Estate）」、「フェイルズ・ライブラリー（Fales Library and Special Collections）」、「スミソニアン・アーカイブズ・オブ・アメリカンアート（Smithsonian Archives of American Art）」などのアーカイヴ資料も収録されている。

Kazuko Miyamoto – 'Conversations'. This publication accompanies the exhibition Kazuko Miyamoto – 'String Constructions' currently at KW. Featuring newly commissioned conversations and contributions from key figures who have worked with or alongside Miyamoto throughout her career. Together, they create a nuanced, personal portrait of the artist, and this book takes the form of an oral history.
The conversations span decisive phases of her practice and include voices such as Adrian Piper, Carol LeWitt, Ilona Pachler, Luca Cerizza, Leela Ramotar, Renata Lac, and Eizan Miyamoto, alongside archival materials from A.I.R. Gallery, the Ana Mendieta Estate, Fales Library, and the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, among others.
