アメリカ人アーティスト、ソル・ルウィット（Sol LeWitt）の作品集。コンセプチュアル・アートの第一人者である作者の展覧会や出版物に用いられたエフェメラを蒐集した一作。1970年代から2000年代初期までの数々のエフェメラ、インビテーション、ポスターを書籍として再現することによって作者の展覧会における長い歴史を探り、ビジュアル・アートの全分野におけるその熱烈で多才な試みを記録している。掲載された作品には、作者本人がデザインした書状などのほか、そのプレゼンテーションの手腕、審美眼ともに、普遍的な広がりを示せる作品を選び収録。作者の全作品にわたるテーマと関連性を一望することのできる一冊である。
本書は、コレクターであり編集者のパオロ・クレディ（Paolo Credi）のコレクションから作者の「インビテーション」を集めた目録でありモノグラフである。クレディと、「ニューヨーク近代美術館（The Museum of Modern Art / MoMA）」アートライブラリの司書のデイヴィッド・シニア（David Senior）による英語とイタリア語の短いテキストを掲載。テキストをベースとする招待状、グリッドとプロジェクト、色、構造などのチャプターごとに分けられ構成されている。
This book presents notices and announcements of exhibitions and editions by one of conceptual art’s foremost practitioners, Sol LeWitt.
