本書は作者が解説を付した258本のスーパー8フィルムに加え、18本の「レフトオーバー・フィルム」（正式な作品番号に含まれない、断片的・補遺的な映像作品群）を収録する。QRコードを通じて、本書に掲載された映像作品を視聴することができる。

本書には、スイスの「ビュンドナー美術館（Bündner Kunstmuseum）」館長のシュテファン・クンツ（Stephan Kunz）および「アッペンツェル美術館／クンストハレ（Kunstmuseum / Kunsthalle Appenzell）」館長のシュテファニー・グシュヴェント（Stefanie Gschwend）によるエッセイ、ならびにペーター・ツィマーマン（Peter Zimmermann）によるエディトリアルが収録されている。作品解説はツィマーマンとの緊密な協働のもとに制作され、同氏は本書のデザインも担当した。

The catalogue raisonné brings together 258 Super 8 films, explained by Roman Signer, as well as 18 " leftover films". A QR code allows viewers to watch the films included in this publication.

The catalogue is supplemented by essays by Stephan Kunz (director of the Bündner Kunstmuseum) and Stefanie Gschwend (director of the Kunstmuseum / Kunsthalle Appenzell) as well as an editorial by Peter Zimmermann. The artist's explanations of his films were developed in close collaboration with Peter Zimmermann, who also designed the publication.
