日本人美術家、菅木志雄の作品集。「もの派」の中心人物のひとりである作者が1968年から1988年にかけて制作したインスタレーション作品を中心に、一部のアッサンブラージュおよび紙上作品を含む写真記録を網羅的に収録したモノグラフである。

本書には、美術評論家である峯村敏明によるエッセイ「菅木志雄論のために（思想篇）」を収録。また各章は、菅木志雄によるアフォリズム的な言葉によって幕を開ける。

This monograph provides exhaustive photographic documentation of Suga's installations, including some assemblages and works on paper, from 1968 to 1988.
