RAUSCHENBERG AND THE TWENTIETH CENTURY by Robert Rauschenberg
20世紀を代表するアメリカ人コンテンポラリー・アーティスト、ロバート・ラウシェンバーグ（Robert Rauschenberg）の作品集。2025年4月から6月にかけてミラノの「ノヴェチェント美術館（20世紀博物館とも / MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO）」で開催した展覧会に伴い刊行された。
同展覧会は、作者の生誕100周年を記念し、20世紀を代表する革新的なアーティストのひとりに焦点を当てて開催された。本展は、未来派からアルテ・ポーヴェラ（Arte Povera）に至るまで、20世紀を特徴づけた諸運動と作者の絶え間ない実践とを交差させながら、常に世界へと開かれてきたその作品の先見的な力をあらためて浮かび上がらせる。それは、世界を自身のスタジオとし、芸術を自由と好奇心、そして際限のない結びつきの場と捉えた作者の名のもとに、好奇心に満ちた眼差しで20世紀を旅することへの呼びかけである。

On the centenary of Robert Rauschenberg’s birth, the Museo del Novecento dedicates an exhibition to one of the 20th century’s most revolutionary artists. The show intertwines his tireless practice with the movements that marked that century—from Futurism to Arte Povera—restoring the visionary power of a work that is always open to the world.
It is a call to journey through the 1900s with curious eyes, in the name of an artist who has made the world his studio and art a field of freedom, curiosity, and boundless connections.
