戦争という呪いがあらゆるものの姿を歪めるなか、イラストレーター、統計学者、そして10代の少女という3人の女性は、贋作師、娼婦、そして囮へと変貌していく。あらゆる隠れ家と密輸トンネルは、異界めいた「キャバレー・エコノミック（Cabaret Économique）」で小道具の清掃係をするヌラへと通じ、そこでは死に体の国家や警察、犯罪組織が、芸術と愛と対峙する。恐怖はすべての境界を溶かしていく。
