MATISSE by Masanao Hirayama

日本人アーティスト、平山昌尚（HIMAA）の作品集。2024年5月、自身の展覧会開催のためにパリに滞在していた作者は、「パリ市立近代美術館（Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris / MAM）」内にあるアンリ・マティス（Henri Matisse）の作品を展示するためだけの部屋「マティス・ルーム」を訪れた。本書は、その期間に描いた作者のスケッチからアンリ・マティスの作品「ダンス（DANCE）」が描かれたものを収録する。アーティストであるジャン＝シャルル・ブレ（Jean-Charles Blais）によるテキスト「Hirayamatisse」を収録。

同じシリーズとしてアンリ・マティス（Henri Matisse）の作品をスケッチした『BRANCUSI』も刊行されている。フランス語、日本語併記。

During his stay in Paris in May 2024, Masanao Hirayama visited the Matisse room at the museum of modern art. This book is a reproduction of the sketchbook of the artist.

Yvon Lambert asked Jean-Charles Blais to write a text for the book. Drawings by Masanao Hirayama, text by Jean-Charles Blais, and translation by Kaori Fujimoto.
