ニューヨークを拠点に活動する韓国人アーティスト、アンナ・パーク（Anna Park）の作品集。2024年4月から9月にかけてオーストラリアの「西オーストラリア州立美術館（Art Gallery of Western Australia）」で開催した展覧会に伴い刊行された。

本展は、同美術館の「サイモン・リー財団 現代アジア美術研究所（Simon Lee Foundation Institute of Contemporary Asian Art）」企画責任者であるレイチェル・チースラ（Rachel Ciesla）がキュレーションを担当した、作者にとって初の美術館での個展であり、初のモノグラフでもある。

1996年生まれである作者は、現代ドローイングにおける重要な新世代の一人として注目を集め、具象と表現性の強い抽象のあわいを揺れ動く、木炭やインクを用いた精緻な紙上作品によって急速に評価を高めてきた。ポピュラーカルチャー、共同体的な経験、さらにはより親密な対人関係から着想を得て描かれた作品群は、人種、ジェンダー、セクシュアリティ、階級を横断して働く美の規範への同調を強いる、今日なお続く社会的圧力を、ブラックユーモアを帯びた視線によって可視化している。

A major new figure in contemporary drawing, Park has swiftly gained recognition for her richly detailed charcoal and ink works on paper that teeter between figuration and expressive abstraction.
