現代における人間像、その身体やアイデンティティをめぐる課題に取り組む3名の作品を一堂に集めた1冊。

本書は、マイケル・アーミテージ、マリア・ラスニック、チェレンゲ・ファン・ランペルベルフの作品を初めて対話的に提示し、それぞれの実践に通底する深い関係性と興味深い共鳴を探るものである。収録作品の選定はアーミテージ自身によって行われ、絵画、彫刻、ドローイングが交差する構成の中で展開される。各見開きの折り込み図版では、3点の作品が並置されるレイアウトが採用されている。
