イタリア人アーティストのジュリオ・パオリーニ（Giulio Paolini）による作品集。1959年から1979年にかけてイタリアで展開した芸術運動「アルテ・ポーヴェラ（Arte Povera / 貧しい芸術）」に所属したことでも知られ、日本でも2022年、第33回「高松宮殿下記念世界文化賞」を受賞している。

タイトルである「Ennesima [Umpteenth]」は何度も何度も繰り返すことを意味し、1970年代にさまざまな形式で製作されたシリーズである。

「『Ennesima』には3つの要素がある。文章、イメージ、そして時間である。ここでの文章は、あらゆるコミュニケーションを避け、見た目以外には何も残さず、それ自身以外には何も説明をしない。ドローイングはページの表面の定義にすぎない。時間は、文章を書くこととドローイングを描くことの両方から、さらに多くの意味を排除する。最初のページはすでに最後のページであり、最後のページはいまだ最初のページである。そのシークエンスが、輪を完成させるのだ。G.P.」－ ジュリオ・パオリーニ

Four separate 4-page pamphlets enclosed in folder. "Ennesima has three elements : writing, image and time. The writing here is eschewing all communication, retains nothing but its appearance and describes nothing but itself. The drawing is only the definition of the surface of the page. Time removes still more meanings from both writing and drawing. The first page is already the last, while the last is still the first; the sequence completes the circle.
