「第19回ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ国際建築展（2025）」の公式作品集。2025年5月から11月まで開催された本展は、イタリア人建築家・エンジニアであるカルロ・ラッティ（Carlo Ratti）を総合ディレクターに迎え、「自然／人工／集合知（Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.）」を横断して問題解決に当たる自然とAIと人間の連なりを示唆したテーマを掲げた。

カルロ・ラッティはこう述べる。「建築は常に、過酷な気候への応答であり続けてきた…私たちの創造はいつの時代も、過酷な環境と、私たちが必要とする安全で居住可能な空間との隔たりを埋ごうとしてきた。今日、そのダイナミックな姿勢は、気候がいっそう容赦なくなるにつれて新たな段階へと入っている。水と火が、かつてない激しさで私たちを襲っているのを、私たちは目の当たりにしてきた。」

本書は、2冊組作品集と成り、建築家やエンジニア、数学者や気候科学者、哲学者やアーティスト、シェフやプログラマー、ライターや木彫師、農業従事者やファッション・デザイナーなど750名を超える参加者の寄稿が、変化する環境に適応するための効果的な方法が、多様性の受容と協働を不可欠の条件とすることを探究する。
