イギリス人フォトグラファー、デイブ・スウィンデルズ（Dave Swindells）の作品集。2022年に初版が発売された同作の再版本。より手に取りやすいコンパクトなサイズになり、表紙には帯が巻かれ、中のページのレイアウトはより見やすく変更され、キャプションも追加された。

作者は1988年3月に「Future」や「Shoom」で開催されたイベント「ACID NIGHT」を撮影。その後は「Spectrum」、「Trip」、「Mutoid Waste Company」や駐車場、バス停などで催され、その年の11月に「Adrenalin」を最後に幕を閉じている。作者は当時、『TIME OUT』のナイトライフ特集の編集者としてその全てを記録し記事にしていた。今、改めて「ACID HOUSE」の歴史を振り返り、当時の様子を作者自身の言葉と写真で語る。

The (Re)Edition of ACID HOUSE AS IT HAPPENED by Dave Swindells. A brilliant title for what is already the definitive unofficial visual chronicle of 1988. Swindells photographed the first Acid nights at Future and Shoom in March ‘88, then Spectrum, Trip, Mutoid Waste Company, events organised (or otherwise) in car parks and bus depots, all throughout that year of seismic change, ending in November with the appropriately named Adrenalin. Dave documented and wrote about it all back then as the nightlife editor of Time Out, and is now re-visiting and re-telling the history of Acid House, as it happened, in his own words, and of course photographs. It’s a fast ride.
