ドイツ人フォトグラファー、ヤン・レーナー（Jan Lehner）の作品集。本書は、制約ある旅の中で撮影されたイメージの集積である。それぞれの目的地、そして時にロンドンでの自身の日常的な環境さえも、儚い印象でしか残らない。

仕上がった作品はしばしば視覚的なメモとして作られ、現在では文脈から切り離され抽象化されているが、それは、その瞬間がどのように現れたかというよりも、その瞬間の情緒を垣間見ようとする試みなのである。

A Minor Thought by Jan Lehner (b.1983, German) contains a cumulation of images taken during constrained journeys; solely allowing a fleeting impression of the respective destinations — and at times even of Lehner’s habitual environment in London.

The resulting works, often made as visual notes, presently decontextualised and abstract, are an attempt to offer a glimpse into these moments’ sentiment, rather than how they appeared.
