本書は、1932年からアメリカの「ホイットニー美術館（Whitney Museum）」が主宰で開催されている「ホイットニー・ビエンナーレ（Whitney Biennial）」の第80回目となった、2022年の「WHITNEY BIENNIAL 2022: QUIET AS IT'S KEPT」の図録。アメリカ現代芸術のバロメーター的な存在として、常に重要視されてきたビエンナーレの最新版を紹介する一冊。

The 2022 Whitney Biennial is accompanied by this landmark volume. Each of the Biennial’s participants is represented by a selected exhibition history, a bibliography, and imagery complemented by a personal statement or interview that foregrounds the artist’s own voice.
