ベルギー出身、メキシコ在住のアーティスト、フランシス・アリス（Francis Alÿs）の作品集。2024年6月から9月にかけてイギリス・ロンドンの「バービカン・アート・ギャラリー（Barbican Art Gallery）」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。イギリスの美術館での大規模展覧会としては約15年ぶりとなる。

作者は、展覧会のスペースを映画的な遊び場に変貌させた。会期中、来場者は子供の遊びに焦点を当てたマルチスクリーンの映像インスタレーション作品に没頭した。1999年以来、作者は世界中のさまざまな状況や環境で遊ぶ子どもたちの姿を記録してきたが、本展ではイギリスにおいて初公開となる作品シリーズ「Children's Games」の新作を展覧。幼少期の想像上の空間と空間詩学が結びついた、世界中のさまざまな文化圏の子どもの遊びを記録するこの一作に特に焦点を当てている。またあわせて、伝統的なものからあまり知られていない手を使った遊びを描いた新しいアニメーション作品が発表され、子どもから大人まで幅広く体感できる展覧会となった。
