The monograph casts new light on Evans installations of light and sound and is released in conjunction with his largest-ever solo show. The volume opens with photographs taken by Evans and selected from an archive of over 3,000 images that pertain to the idea of light and continues with three essays by the art historian Briony Fer, the theoretician Éric Alliez, and the philosopher Alexander García Düttmann. Together with exhibition views, the catalogue presents a text by the curators Roberta Tenconi and Vicente Todolí, entries with detailed descriptions of all the exhibited works, and an illustrated chronology of Evans’s solo shows.
