本書は、キュレーターであり批評家のシャーロット・コットン（Charlotte Cotton）が寄稿したテキストを収録。「The Exquisite Corpse（優美な屍骸）」と題されたこのテキストでは、アメリカ人モデル、写真家のグィネヴィア・ヴァン・シーナス（Guinevere van Seenus）、プエルトリコ人デジタルアーティストのアマリア・ソト（Amalia Soto）、アメリカ人写真家のジャスティーン・カーランド（Justine Kurland）など、これまで様々なアーティストと交わした会話を織り交ぜている。トランスジェンダー・アーティストであり作家、監督のアッシャー・ハートマン（Asher Hartman）のディレクションによって劇的なテキストにまとめられている。

本書は、ロンドン発のインディペンデントマガジン『Beauty Papers』より刊行、ロンドンの書店兼出版社「IDEA」が流通を担当。「IDEA」より刊行され今や絶版となっている2018年刊行の同作者による『FATHER』に続く一冊。

There is a wonderful written piece provided for the book by the legendary Charlotte Cotton. Entitled 'The Exquisite Corpse,' Charlotte weaves conversations she has had with various artists – Guinevere van Seenus, Amalia Soto, Justine Kurland among them – into one dramatised text with stage directions by Asher Hartmann.

Published by Beauty Papers and exclusively distributed by IDEA in an edition of 1,000 copies. The new book follows IDEA's first sold-out title with Harley Weir, 2018's FATHER. Harley is, if you were not previously aware, one of the most exciting and sought after fashion photographers in the world.
