アメリカ人フォトグラファー、フランチェスカ・ウッドマン（Francesca Woodman）と、イギリス人フォトグラファー、ジュリア・マーガレット・キャメロン（Julia Margaret Cameron）の作品集。2024年3月から6月まで「ナショナル・ポートレート・ギャラリー（National Portrait Gallery）」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。写真史史上、最も重要な2人の実践者の類似点を紐解き、新たなリサーチや希少なヴィンテージ・プリント、これまで未公開であったアーカイブ作品を紹介する。

二者のキャリアには一世紀以上開きがあり、生きた場所も離れていたが、想像以上に共通点があった。いずれも15年足らずの短いキャリアであり、生前は世にその名が広く知られることのないままであったが、没後は高い評価を得ている。両者の写すポートレイトは、時代を超えて深く繋がり、優美で実験的な特質をいずれも孕んでいる。
