REVUE CAHIERS D’ART, 2012, N°1, ELLSWORTH KELLY by Ellsworth Kelly [LIMITED EDITION]

1926年にパリのサン＝ジェルマン＝デ＝プレでクリスチャン・ゼルボス（Christian Zervos）が創刊した美術雑誌「カイエ・ダール（Cahier D’Art）」。1960年に廃刊となったが、2012年にスタファン・アーレンバーグ（Staffan Ahrenberg）によって復刊、本書はそのシリーズ第一号であり、アメリカの現代絵画の巨匠、エルズワース・ケリー（Ellsworth Kelly）を特集する。

本書はリミテッド・エディションとなり、通常版のカバー作品であった「Black Form I」に代わって作者によるスペシャル・カバー「White Form」を表紙とし、青いリネンで包まれたボックスに収められている。作者によるサインとエディション・ナンバーが入り、サインは「カイエ・ダール」の復刊第一号を刊行した際にケリーが特別に創作したカラー・リトグラフ「Red Form for Cahiers d’Art, 2012」の隣に書かれている。本書は英語版が75冊、フランス語版が75冊のみの限定刊行となる。

The Limited Edition of this issue is presented in a blue linen box and features White Form, a special cover created by Ellsworth Kelly, which replaces Black Form I, the cover artwork of the standard edition. Each Limited Edition is signed and numbered by the artist, whose signature appears adjacent to Red Form for Cahiers d’Art, 2012, a color lithograph that was created specially by the artist for this first issue of the new Cahiers d’Art revue. The Li- mited Edition of Cahiers d’Art 2012 NO 1 Ellsworth Kelly is limited to seventy-five numbered copies in English and seventy -five numbered copies in French.
