Her use of a performative double within domestic space foregrounds the slippages between reenactment and recollection, allowing humour to unsettle the gravity of remembered experience. Through these iterative gestures, Donneson constructs a rigorous inquiry into how the self is archived, revised, and reimagined, situating the work as an exploration of interiority shaped by time.
