旧オランダ領スリナム生まれのオランダ人アーティスト、スタンリー・ブラウン（Stanley Brouwn）の作品集。コンセプチュアル・アート史上の重要人物である作者の作品は、厳格で控えめでありながら、身体と空間の関係性を革新的かつ即時的に体験することを提案した。その作品を構成する中心的な要素は、空間の測定である。本作は2冊セットで構成されており、鉄パイプ、プラスチックチューブ、木ずり、アルミニウムストリップ、ゴムバンド、銅線、ナイロンロープなど、さまざまな素材のエル（※註）と歩行の寸法が記載されており、このようにして空間のステートメントのようなものが提供されている。

Measurement of the space constitutes the heart of the work of Stanley Brouwn. In this set, the artist mentions ell and step measurements taken of different types of material such as iron pipe, plastic tube, wooden lath, aluminum strip, elastic band, copper wire and nylon rope, delivering this way a kind of statement of a space.
