1978年に「ダネーゼ（DANESE）」社の「Edizioni per bambini」シリーズとして出版された作者の代表的作品である、5つのドローイングシート・シリーズ「顔（on faces）」、「貨物列車（a trainload of）」、「風景（landscapes）」、「夢、その他（dreams and other things）」、「主題と場面（subjects and sequences）」のうちの第5巻。

本版は、作者によってアップデートされ、新たなエディションとして「CORRAINI EDIZIONI」より再版されたもの。長く、扱いやすいカードは全ての子供たちのイマジネーションを刺激するだろう。一部だけ描かれた4枚のイラストシートと、2枚の無地のシートが封入されており、作者による提案を始点とし、絵を描きながら生み出される無数のストーリーのための余白が用意された構成となっている。
