ベルリンを拠点に活動するドイツ人アーティスト、ステファン・マルクス（Stefan Marx）の作品集。「Economy Class」（2013年）と「One Sky Star World Team Alliance」（2016年）に続き、ニューヨークの出版社「DASHWOOD BOOKS」から刊行された飛行機ドローイング集の第三作目。ターマック舗装の滑走路で待機やタキシングをしている商用飛行機、作者特有の表情で描かれた乗組員や乗客のポートレートなど、愛情をこめて描かれたインク・ドローイングが収録されている。作者が飛行機に夢中になったのは、少年時代にフランクフルト空港の展望デッキへと家族に連れられたことが始まりであった。本書には新作のドローイングがすべて収められ、ヨーロッパ標準のA4規格サイズに合わせて実際の作品と同じサイズで印刷されている。

German artist, Stefan Marx’s third title of his plane drawings published by Dashwood after Economy Class in 2013 and One Sky Star World Team Alliance in 2016.  Lovingly rendered ink drawings of commercial airplanes parked or taxiing on the tarmac along with the artist's signature portraiture of crew and passengers.  His obsession with airplanes began when he was taken to the open observation deck at Frankfurt Airport with his family as a child.  PAD features all new drawings this time reproduced to scale on A4 standard European paper size and printed in a larger edition of 1,000 copies.
