ALLEMANDI EDITORE

Società Editrice Allemandi started its activity in 1983 with focus on the production of high quality periodicals and specialized books in figurative and decorative arts. The first initiative was the monthly Il Giornale dell'Arte (May), a universal absolute innovation in the field of art periodicals, whose success stimulated the demand from various countries. For the first time in the art world, it was no longer a magazine, but the equivalent of an informative newspaper. In 1990, the foreign brand Umberto Allemandi & Co. was established in London. Publishing Ltd, which publishes the international monthly The Art Newspaper. The Italian publishing house, based in Turin, spawned seven international publications that now collaborate in the largest information network operating in the art world, which extends from Turin to London, New York, Paris and Shanghai.
