パリを拠点に活動する建築事務所であり都市計画研究も行う「バロー・プレサッコ（Barrault Pressacco）」の作品集。同事務所は、ティボー・バロー（Thibault Barrault）とシリル・プレサッコ（Cyril Pressacco）によって2009年に設立された。本書では、現代の建築における断熱の方法に関する研究をまとめている。多層的かつハイブリッドな仕上がりとなっている本作は、建築書と科学的論文の間をとるような一冊である。
