現代のフランス美術を代表するアーティスト、フィリップ・パレーノの作品集。2016年10月から2017年4月までロンドンの「テート・モダン（Tate Modern）」内「タービン・ホール（Turbine Hall）」で展開された没入型コミッションワーク「Anywhen」の発表に伴い刊行され、制作プロセスを詳細に掲載している。

本プロジェクトは、同美術館と「現代自動車株式会社（Hyundai Motor Company / ヒョンデ）」とのパートナーシップの一環として、アーティストがサイト・スペシフィック作品をこのホールのために制作するシリーズの第二回。

作者との緊密なコラボレーションにより制作された本書は、キュレーターを努めたアンドレア・リッソーニによる詳細なインタビューによってパレーノの人生と作品を掘り下げ、本展覧会をより深く理解するための必携の1冊となっている。

Created in close collaboration with the artist, this book explores in detail the artistic processes involved in creating Philippe Parreno’s Anywhen, 2016. It features a fully illustrated survey of Parreno’s life and work with stunning photographs and an in-depth interview with curator Andrea Lissoni, making it an ideal accompaniment to the exhibition.

Philippe Parreno is a leading French artist who works across film, video, sound, sculpture, performance and information technology. His work explores the borders between reality and fiction, and he sees his exhibitions as choreographed spaces that follow a score, during which a series of different events unfold. These kaleidoscopic environments redefine the gallery-going experience, and recent projects have included the vast installation H{N)Y P N(Y}OSIS at Park Avenue Armory, New York (2015), and the immersive Anywhen in the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern, October 2016.
